Coins for a Cure

Coins for a Cure”

September 21st – October 2nd, 2015

Bring your pennies and spare change to your classroom and deposit them in the specially marked jars.  You’ll be helping the kids in your school and community with Type 1 Diabetes.

Currently more than 75 students in the San Ramon Unified School District have T1 Diabetes.  Type 1 Diabetes, formerly known as juvenile diabetes is an auto-immune disease that strikes children and young adults.  Type 1 Diabetes is not caused by eating too much sugar, excessive weight or lifestyle. There is no cure

100% of the funds raised will be used by JDRF to find a cure.   For more information, please contact your school representative Tharsne Supramaniam, or program coordinators Lindsay Ohlson at lohlson@srvusd.net or (925) 413-6744 or Courtney Cameron at 831-524-3888

Thank you for your support!

Please Remember Our School Rule is Safety First!

Please help keep our school and students safe by:

1. Checking in at the office when you arrive and depart

2. Keeping all gates closed during school hours

3. Following ALL drop off and pick up rules and procedures
