Coins for a Cure

COINS FOR A CURE

October 20th – October 30th, 2014

“Coins for a Cure” Spare Change Drive –October 20 - October 30, 2014

Bring your pennies and spare change to your classroom and deposit them in the specially marked jars.  You’ll be helping the kids in your school and community with juvenile diabetes!

Currently more than 75 students in the San Ramon Unified School District have T1 Diabetes.  Juvenile Diabetes is an auto-immune disease that strikes children and young adults.  Juvenile Diabetes (also called Type 1 Diabetes) is not caused by eating too much sugar, excessive weight or lifestyle. There is no cure

100% of the funds raised will be used by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to find a cure and to support the newly diagnosed diabetes patient program at Children’s Hospital, Oakland.   For more information, please contact program coordinators Sharon Dodson at sdodson@srvusd.net or Nancy Riley atnriley01@sbcglobal.net

Thank you for your support!
