Important News for This Month!

Dear Parents,

We have a busy month coming up!  Please note the following events:

Red Ribbon Week 10/24-10/28:

Monday 10/24- "Turn Your Back on Drugs"- wear your shirt backwards!

Tuesday 10/25- Wear your favorie sports jersey to Team Up for a strong character.

Wednesday 10/26- Wear red if you want to "Believe, Achieve and Succeed."

Thursday 10/27- Wear Tie-Dyed shirts or Peace signs to say "Peace out to drugs".

Friday 10/28- Wear your spirit wear to encourage everyone to stay healthy!

10/31 Halloween parade- This will be taking place on the blacktop at approximately 10:40 a.m.

Our annual Walkathon is coming up on November 2nd, and this year you can make your pledges online.  Please click on FunRun.com to create your account (it’s super-fast and easy).  From there, register each of your children using the school name Hidden Hills Elementary.  On each student’s page there are buttons and links to enter pledges.  You can also send the page to family and friends via text, email, and Facebook.  Another very cool feature is that you can create  a personalized video of your child to send to family and friends!  All you have to do is upload your child’s picture onto their page, and the video will automatically be created for you to send out as you choose!

11/3 Minimum Day- All students will arrive at 8:15 and be dismissed at 11:59

First Grade Team

Dear Parents,

Your child will be bringing home thier passports in their Friday folders.  These passports can be used to document your child and their families participation in activities at Hidden Hills.  Please mark each attended event with a happy face or a sticker.  They will be due at the end of the month with homework as your child may receive a prize for thier participation.
