Important News for This Month!



Dear Parents,

Please note the important dates for this month:



3/30- Start of Spring Break, No School

4/2-4/6- Spring Break, No School

4/18- Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Rubin- Field trip to Lindsay Wildlife Museum

4/25- Mrs. Chacon, Mrs. Dickerson, Mrs. Rosenberg- Field Trip to Lindsay Wildlife Museum

4/27- LAST homework Due

First Grade Team










Please make sure to go to the link and click "more" to see it in it's entirety.  It should be STAPLED, name written on the FIRST PAGE and handed in on the last Friday of the Month .  Parents should be reviewing the homework before it is turned into the classroom teacher.


HOMEWORK DUE- 4/27, This will be the last homework 



Homework will comprise of the following:

Reading Log- Read 10 Minutes Daily 

Math Review Sheets- Please only do 3 worksheets a week-

Monthly Calendar


For the writing component, please use the First grade writing paper (link below).  You will pick ONE writing prompt.  Please have your child include a Beginning (who they were with and where?), Middle (what heppened?) and End (How they felt?).  They should be sure to include detail and stretch out their ideas across at least three pages.


We will also include an enrichment activity and support activities if you feel your child needs to review previously taught concepts. 


Please continue to have your children practice memorizing their lunch card numbers and tying their shoes (please have them double knotted at start of day if they are struggling and practice at home :)
